A recruitment agency is set to expand after it received a cash boost of £100,000.
Adept Professional Services Ltd, in Hartlepool, whose clients include blue-chip businesses, received the funding from Northstar Ventures’ Finance for Business North East Accelerator Fund.
It will be used to help the business grow and will include the creation of around 19 new roles in the next 10 months.
Managing director Kelly Adamson set up Adept in 2006 after a successful career in recruitment because she was disappointed by the service levels and limited value added. Kelly said: “It is of paramount importance to me, that what I do for a living has a purpose. I need to do good, add value, solve problems and make something better. I want to encourage honourable, professional careers within recruitment and raise standards within our industry, which is why I developed AdeptologyTM.
“Adeptology is out unique way of doing things. It is a framework that blends people, process and business, whilst incorporating areas such as employee engagement, corporate culture and human behaviours. Adeptology has one ultimate aim – to make our clients’ businesses better, via the people that we recruit for them. Adept is also a risk-management agency, which means that we can recruit complex and sensitive positions where there is a great deal of risk involved. Adeptology will help to play a part in recuing recruitment risk.
