Ten ambitious business teams will go head-to-head on Thursday for chance to win up to £100,000 of investment.
The North East hopefuls were selected from a group over 200 by ignite100, Europe’s first £1m digital startup accelerator.
During a demo day at the Tyneside cinema, the teams will showcase their ideas to a range of angel investors, mentors and colleagues
Successful entrants will win investment from the Finance for Business North East (FBNE) Accelerator Fund, managed by Northstar Ventures, and the FBNE Technology Fund. managed by IP Group plc, together with a group of angel investors including Hotspur Capital and Fiona Cruickshank.
